Scarf Patterns - Store
Chamonix Diagonal Scarf
1 skein Chamonix from Great Adirondack
size 10 needles
Cast on 24 stitches.
Row 1: increase 1 stitch in the first stitch, knit until 2 stitches on end, knit these 2 together.
Row 2: knit.
Place marker on right side of work and repeat rows 1 & 2 for pattern. If you wish to add fringe, cut the yarn first and knit with the remainder.
Diva & Eyelash Scarf
1 skein Diva (132 yards)
2 skeins Eyelash (85 yards each)
size 15 needles
Cast on 18 stitches with 1 strand of Diva and one strand of Eyelash. Knit every row until one yard of Diva remains. Cast off all stitches.
Dune & Eyelash or Charm and Eyelash
1 skein each Dune & Eyelash (Trendsetter)
size 13 needles
Cast on 3 stitches using one strand of each yarn. Increast 1 stitch at the beginning of each row until there are 38 stitches. Then increase 1 stitch at the beginning and end of each row. Work until there is just enough yarn to bind off very, very loosely. (Scarf may be continued in this manner with additional yarn and increasing at the beginning and end of each row to become a shawl.)
1 skein Esperanza (Schaefer Yarns)
size 10 1/2 needles
Cast on 36 stitches.
Knit 4 rows.
Row 5: K4, * K2, P2*, repeat between * until 4 stitches remain, K4.
Row 6: K4, P1, * K2, P2*, repeat between * until 5 stitches remain, P1, K4.
Repeat rowns 5 & 6 for pattern until desired length.
Knit 4 rows then bind off.
Isis & Zanziba Scarf
1 skein each of Isis & Zanziba
size 17 needles
Cast on 15 stitches very loosely.
Pattern: K1, P1
Repeat pattern until one yard remains. Bind off very, very loosely.
The "Not-So-Boring" Scarf
1 skein Isis (Collinette)
2 skeins Charm (Trendsetter)
size 10 1/2 needles
Cast on 21 stitches loosely using 1 strand of each yarn.
Rows 1-4: Knit
Row5: *K1, YO* repeat across the row, end K1.
Row 6: Knit across, dropping the YOs from the previous row.
Repeat until rows 1-6 until Isis is almost gone, leaving enough to bind off loosely.
Use remaining Charm for fringe.
Note: Scarf may look short but it grows with wear!
Wild/Cool Stuff Scarf
1 skein Wild Stuff or Cool Stuff (150 yards)
size 15 knitting needles
Cast on 20 stitches
Rows 1-4: Knit
Row 5: K1, YO twice (wrap tarn aroun the needles 2 times), end with K1.
Row 6: *K1, drop YOs. Repeat across row ending with K1.
Rows 7-8: Knit
Repeat rows 5-8 for pattern being sure to leave enough yarn to knit the last 4 rown and to bind off.
